Arun Raghupathy, MD, FACC
Dr. Raghupathy graduated with honors from Case Western Reserve University and attended Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. He completed internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He then completed fellowships in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology at the University of Michigan, in Ann Arbor, MI. Dr. Raghupathy is trained in peripheral vascular medicine and peripheral intervention. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Interventional Cardiology, and Nuclear Cardiology.
Dr. Raghupathy is an interventional cardiologist, specializing in invasive cardiac procedures such as angioplasty and stenting of blood vessels. Additionally, he has a special interest in the screening and prevention of heart attacks in patients who have a family history of early coronary artery disease and emphasizes the value of primary prevention in treating all of his patients. He is particularly interested in reducing the risk of heart disease in high risk patients of South Asian origin by screening for novel risk factors and educating all patients and their families on the importance of heart healthy living.
