Brian L. Strunk, MD, FACC
Doctor Strunk is co-chief of cardiology at Marin General Hospital, Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at UCSF, member the American Heart Association and California Department of Health task force to treat heart attacks, and serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Invasive Cardiology. He has been named numerous times to “Best cardiologists” in San Francisco magazine and Best Doctors in America. He is interested in the prevention and treatment of coronary artery disease with special interests in interventional cardiology and stents and has published numerous articles in this field. He focuses not only on drugs and technology, but also on treating the “whole patient,” and recently published his research on stress induced heart attacks.
