Vascular Program at CAMSF

The Vascular Program is a recent addition to CAMSF and is headed by Dr. Laura Pak, a Vascular Surgeon. Vascular disease is complex and requires a wide range of expertise for appropriate and effective treatment. CAMSF starts with a program of screening for high-risk candidates. Because early detection can reduce the risk of serious complications, we put enormous emphasis on diagnosis starting with the most advanced non-invasive technologies including arterial and venous ultrasounds. A second stage of diagnosis may include a CT Scans, MRA or conventional angioplasty.

Conditions treated by our Vascular Program include:

CAMSF's non-invasive diagnostic facilities put us at the forefront of vascular care. The risk of non-treatment of vascular problems may include crisis situations such as strokes, threatened limbs, kidney failure, and the complications of diabetes. When possible, we focus on the use of minimally invasive procedures in surgical care. You may have already been diagnosed by your primary doctor or specialist and been told that exploring surgical options is your next step.
